Dear Mirror
03:36
|
|||
Dear Mirror on the wall
You have helped me see it all
The future of the past inside myself
I am just a copy of another page you've written
But I am free
I can try to wrap my head around myself until I'm dead
But I will never make sense of myself
I was once a Puppet but my strings have been severed
But I am free
A Destiny
Scribed in ink
Manifested in Poetry
The dying Trees
A symptom of the writers disease
Dear Mirror on the wall
You have helped me see it all
The destination of a different path
The Maggots underneath my skin have eaten to the brain
And now I'm free
A destiny
Scribed in ink
Manifested in Poetry
The dying Trees
A symptom of the writers disease

The Cage
03:59
|
|||
Like a rat in a cage
We're running through a maze
Yeah we're trapped in the labyrinth they call a stage
Yeah we're all just actors in a Broadway show
But it doesn't matter
'Cause no one knows
We are just the Poets playthings
(Obliviously blissful)
In the flesh but not existing
(Obliviously blissful)
Trapped in a dream and never waking
(Obliviously blissful)
Going day by day
With needles in our eyes
So how does it feel to be a test subject?
Is the euphoria real because it's too perfect
They SKEYE is watching your every move
And the clocks tick-tocking three, two, one, boom
We are just the Poets playthings
(Obliviously blissful)
In the flesh but not existing
(Obliviously blissful)
Trapped in a dream and never waking
(Obliviously blissful)
Going day by day
With needles in our eyes
Fight with rage
Or you'll never get through it
Fight with rage
Or you'll never go through with it
We are just the Poets playthings
(Obliviously blissful)
In the flesh but not existing
(Obliviously blissful)
Trapped in a dream and never waking
(Obliviously blissful)
Going day by day
With needles in our eyes

Collective subconscious
Coming to understand
Encrypted messages
Whispering the plan
Psychological trauma
Implanted in the brain
Cybernetic tumor
Simulated pain
Soldered to the flesh
Synthetic augmentation
Man-made corruption
This is not a test
Conditioned to obey
Thoughts influenced by imagery
Genocidal intentions
Memories of yesterday
Believe the lies told over and over again
Never questioning why just waiting for the end
Forever we try in vain to pretend
To reject the lies told over and over again
Disconnected conscience
Corrosion of the mind
Oil in the veins
Nowhere to hide
Shattered is the psyche
Of those not immaculate
Trust in the Construct
Is not justified
Total Ego death
Inevitable outcome
Nothing left behind
One must look within
Hopefulness forgotten
Submit to the hands of time
Nature will reclaim
What is rightfully Hers
Believe the lies told over and over again
Never questioning why just waiting for the end
Forever we try in vein to pretend
To reject the lies told over and over again

The Death of Innocence
02:24
|
|||
I tried to climb the ladder to move up in the world
But it collapsed under my own weight
And now the Demons in my head are free to escape
And now they're feeding off what's left of my Innocence
So I
I let them
I let them
I let them
I let them feed
I tried to find salvation but I was blind
Because they had already eaten my eyes
So I tried to look for it inside my own mind
But it had disappeared because I'd already lost my Innocence
I let them
I let them
I let them
I let them feed
I had to kill you just to find my Innocence

Maggotfeed
03:28
|
|||
They take and they feed
Assimilate the flesh
They take what they need
And leave nothing left
Reverse engineered
Biochemistry
Take pleasure in your fear
With no empathy
Existing out of space
Time irrelevant
Undiscovered place
Unknown significance
Collection of the specimen is out of your control
No amount of medicine will save your soul
They will consume you
Watching you as you die
We are all
Feeding the Maggots
We are all
Food for the Maggots
We are all
Just a feast for the Maggots
We are all just
Feeding the Maggots
They will devour
Destroying your mind
In the final hour
Hope you will not find
Systematic genocide
Every living thing must die
A necessary sacrifice
A reason to be sanctified
Collection of the specimen is out of your control
No amount of medicine will save your soul
They will consume you
Watching you as you die
Open your skull
Let them in
Death is a beautiful escape
We are all
Feeding the Maggots
We are all
Food for the Maggots
We are all
Just a feast for the Maggots
We are all just
Feeding the Maggots

SKEYE
04:43
|
|||
Sacred is the Garden
So carefully composed
His cold heart hardens
As it is decomposed
His face is covered
Behind the sky
For He is forced to hide
The maker of the Gardens
So highly revered
Made from his Flesh and bone
In his image all alone
Destined a servant
Death made transparent
Always complacent
Blood on the pavement
Nature so peaceful
Savior so hateful
Maker of the people
Why are you so hateful
Poet of time
Where have you gone?
Sleeping the Sky
Bindings undone
Poet of the mind
What have you done?
Closed are his eyes
Fearful the son

Dear God
05:52
|
|||
Dear God if you're really up there
Why do all your people suffer down here?
Dear God if you really care
Why do all your people struggle just to survive?
Dear God if you really exist
Why does a tortured soul need an exorcist?
Dear God if you are such a loving God
Why does a mother have to cry
Because her child died?
Dear God
I tried to have faith but you know what they say
That seeing is believing and I ain't seen nothing
But the world around me
Fall into decay
Forgive me for asking but just let me see something
Jesus if you really were the son of God
Why didn't you just climb right off that cross
And damn all the sinners
Just to prove your point
Jesus if you really were the son of God
Why did have only twelve followers?
While the rest of the people vilified you
Dear God
I tried to have faith but you know what they say
That seeing is believing and I ain't seen nothing
But the world around me
Fall into decay
Forgive me for asking but just let me see something
If God really is all knowing
And in control of our destinies
If our lives he is controlling
Then what the Hell does free will mean?
Dear God if you really loved me
Why have you never answered my prayers?
Dear God if you want me to believe
Then why have you never shown yourself to me?
Dear God if you're really up there
Why did you let those people die?
Dear God if you really care
Why do you let all these tragedies happen?
Dear God if you really exist
Why did you let your world get like this?
Dear God if you are such a loving God
Why does a child have to cry
Because her parents died?
Dear God
I tried to have faith but you know what they say
That seeing is believing and I ain't seen nothing
But the world around me
Fall into decay
Forgive me for asking but just let me see something
Dear God if you really want me to believe
Then why have you never shown yourself to me?

HALO
03:35
|
|||
You say your eyes are opened
But you've never been more blind
You say my soul is hopeless
And maybe you're right
But who are you to tell me
What is right or wrong?
You say you want to help me
But I am too far gone
I don't need your Halo
To tell me what I already know
That you're a Holy Ghost
And I'm a one man show
Yeah I don't need your Halo
You walk the path they built for you
Without a second thought
The eyes that you've been looking through
Are not the ones you've got
So who are you to tell me
What is right or wrong?
You say you want to help me
But I am too far gone
I don't need your Halo
To tell me what I already know
That you're a Holy Ghost
And I'm a one man show
Yeah I don't need your Halo
You say I'm sacrilegious
I say you're superstitious
But what's the point of Free Will
If we can't decide for ourselves?
I don't need your Halo
To tell me what I already know
That you're a Holy Ghost
And I'm a one man show
Yeah I don't need your Halo

Decay
02:55
|
|||
I won't let you decay
The way that He did
I know you suffer today
Because what He did
I won't tell you it's okay
'Cause I'd be lying
But when it all goes away
That's when you too will see
What He did to you
I wish I could rewrite
Your Poetry
Trade the wrong for the right
But there's no hope for me
Tell me it's gonna be alright
But don't you lie to me
And when it all goes away
That's when you too will see
What He did to me

Gods Reclamation
03:21
|
|||
Snuffed out like a cigarette
Eternal feelings of regret
Hesitant to take a step
There's nothing left to collect
An angel fell yesterday
And now she won't go away
Disfigured she awoke today
The whisperings led her astray
Needle pierces through the skin
Committed act of mortal sin
Evil reigns from within
Corrupts the meaning of the hymn
Tendrils reaching for the heart
Misshape into a work of art
The sons and daughters play their part
Intentions broken from the start
And the Cycle repeats
Blasphemy
Anarchy
Burn down the hierarchy
Maggots feed upon the brain
Extracting life from the sane
Dare not to speak the name
For fear of forfeiting the game
Vermin infestation
Incurable depression
Uncertain direction
Gods Reclamation
And the Cycle repeats
Blasphemy
Anarchy
Burn down the hierarchy
I wish I could tell you how I've become enlightened
No revelation of God or man
The answers are hidden deep within ourselves
And when you reach symbiosis
And God reclaims you for himself
That's when the Cycle repeats
And the Cycle must be broken
Blasphemy
Anarchy
Burn down the hierarchy

Emoti©on
04:09
|

Staring into eyes so hollow
No one would know if they were closed tomorrow
I only hope it's not the same for me
Your life is devoid of meaning
Importance only in glimpses fleeting
I only hope it's not the same for me
You go through the motions
With great devotion
To the motions
Because they're choreographed for you
I'm not the type to get in a fight
I'm more likely to take flight but
I will try to rectify this plight
I will fight for this
But why?
Take another pill and swallow
If I die tomorrow there will be no sorrow
I wish that I could say the same for you
In your mind receiving
Hidden messages from behind the meaning
I wish that I could write them down for you
You go through the motions
With great devotion
To the motions
Because they're choreographed for you
I'm not the type to get in a fight
I'm more likely to take flight but
I will try to rectify this plight
I will fight for this
But why?

I can see it all
Everything is so clear now
Suspended above the void
By the rope of my intention
As the rigor mortis sets in
I attach my Prosthetic Wings
And I disperse into the Fractal
Like a shard of glass from a broken Mirror
I cut myself on the edge
And It felt good
Like I knew it would
I crucify
The Lord of Lies
I am just a piece of dirt
Born to rot upon this earth
Made in the image of a disguise
The hidden truth behind my eyes
I am dust in the shape of man
As was told before it began
The writings in the words betray
The ripened fruit that caused Decay
The serpentine hypnosis
On the eve of the future
Made the lens refocus
And blurred the picture
That never was photographed
No memories of a distant past
That will not be remembered
It's too depressing
For we are all just specks of dust
Born down here to rot and rust
I can see it all
Everything is so clear now
My Angel revealed the light
And She whispered Her intentions
Now that I'm with Her I'm complete
As I spread my Prosthetic Wings
And I can see into the Fractal
Tied to a rope on the highest plateau
I slipped and fell off the edge
And It felt good
Like I knew it would
I crucify
The Lord of Lies

Ascension
03:01
|
|||
Now it is complete
The Cycle is broken
The Mirror on the wall
Has revealed the Poets face
Now I see it all
The picture is in focus
And I can finally breathe
The Maggots that infested me
Are all gone now
The rigor mortis has revealed
The truth under my skin
And now that the Garden has become a memory
I can fly through the Fractal
On my Prosthetic Wings
I still hear Her whispering to me sometimes
But with my newfound knowledge
I can change Her Poetry
I know that I can't change the past
But I can write my future
And I can take control for the first time
I am free
